Basics Are Always the Key

There is no table that can’t be set with basic white dishes.

Layering is key to making basics shine.

I have owned tons of white dishes, even in my early 20’s white dishes were my go to.

Currently these white dishes are my go to, large dinner plates, salad plates, and white bowls.

These dishes are perfect for mixing and matching with other plates, for added pops of color.

I love to think outside of the box for my layers, and use the unexpected.

Here I used these terra cotta saucers as chargers, they are a staple for my tables int he spring and summer.

How can you have a meal without silverware, its like jewelry for your table.

I have so much silverware, but I always reach for the same ones because they can go in the dishwasher!

This set of silverware is my favorite so much so I have it in gold and silver.

What dinner table is complete without a wine glass, even if your serving lemonade to teenagers the glasses make it special!

Every table need a centerpiece.

For this table center piece I used a vintage chicken feeder I found for $8.
